we have been speaking of this for years

at last we signed up this year

he came over and we made it together

so today is the day!

woke up and ready to go at 5am

checking if we miss out brining anything

..boyfriend. checked!

drove through for a quick and light breakfast :)

we arrived earlier and walked around the booth

followed the crowd of digimen, heading to the starting point

the race was about to begin

i think it's funny when we began to run.

i turned around and looked behind of us

it was like the prank in japanese variety show.. get chased by a huge crowd.

a post from sista. it puts me to tear. it's sth tragic my family is facing & struggling... and it's been a while. restless bodies in return for one's strength to strive for each day; hopeful smiles to comfort the broken faith to go on. i've learnt in many ways that love is unconditional and immortal...

拥挤的医院里，他躺在病床上，这已经是第几次入院了，家人都算不清了。年轻医生说：“uncle，你有cancer。放心，没什么事的。多休息就行了。” 他点点头。医生还说：“uncle你要开心，病才快点好起来。uncle，你有开心吗？” 他牵强地回复一个孩子般的微笑：“开心。”只是眼泪在苍老的眼眶里打转着。

那一刻起，他突然平静了好多。不再为了要洗肾而发脾气，不会再嚷着他痛苦地活着：“我快死了”，以前他总是这么说。他每天都出奇安静地躺着，不哭也不闹。他身体越来越弱，从家门走到房门，要两个人搀扶着。85岁的身体，41.5 公斤的体重，没有多一片赘肉，偏偏肚子肿得像个孕妇。我走进他的房间，摸摸他大大的肚子，问道：“会痛吗？”他还是安静，摇摇头说：“不痛，没有感觉。”我明白，是癌细胞扩散了，洗肾再也起不了作用。

他要我帮他点眼药水，我拿了条湿毛巾，帮他擦干净他的那张脸，然后点了眼药水。他突然说：“你几时要出国阿？”我说今年吧，快了。他看着我，说：“阿公看不到你做医生了。”在旁的婆婆也搭腔：“对啊，还要那么久，阿嬷也看不到你做医生了。”

我怔了怔：“不会，你们会看到我当医生的。到时去什么医院，看我就行了。”他们开心地笑说，这样最好阿。走出房间，我开始哭，一直哭，一直哭。

画面切到今天早上，主诊医生表明他不需要洗肾了。“已经是末期了，再洗肾也帮不到什么，只会加重他的痛苦而已。”他被送到癌症末期的医院，而我们家人努力争取着让他回家。一个病人不洗肾三四天，等死吧。除了镇定剂和减痛的药物，旁人能做的，只是看着他，陪他说话。

再给我一次机会，牵着你宽厚的手掌走过繁忙的道路，单脚跪下为你穿袜子保暖，带你去吃遍美食，帮你念出万字票上密密麻麻的数字，替你包新年的红包，按摩你的肩膀，哄着你不可以喝太多汽水。

i hope i'm not too late to wish you all HAPPY NEW YEAR! i think i'm not.. because i'm still not getting used in writing the year 2011 :p

to me, it seems that new year started a month ago. i have this new beginning feeling after i got my current job. i finally got my ass out off the comfort zone. things were new and hectic fast to me. day by day i have gotten used to the distance. i enjoy driving and listening to radio in the morning. like a G6 like a G6~ my first month is practically about observing, bothering people about the basics and getting comfortable with new environment, people and their norms.

2010 is definitely one of the best years in my life. i get to see the world with my own eyes and broaden my mind. i have lost count of how many times i was amazed at sights last year. they made me wanna scream, roll, bounce and shake xD a billion thanks to my beloved parents. i'm truly grateful to my boyfriend and friends for wonderful moments we shared together. i treasure all the great things that happen to me in 2010. i remember the mistakes that i have made last year. i want to improve myself mentally and physically. better years ahead!! ;)

i want to build up a good career. i want opportunities. i want to enhance my ability and confidence. i want certainty. i want to be a good asset. i have few things running in my head and trust me i will make it sound in reality. 2011 will be a platform. i know what do i want and i have the faith to reach it.

it's my first day working.
i wanna write it down because i think it is a day to be remembered =/

first, i actually lost my way to the company. fortunately i drove out almost an hour earlier or else i gonna be in deep shit. upon arrival, i greeted my colleagues cheerfully at the pantry where they were making their coffee and having breakfast at that time. then i entered the toilet and accidentally....... banging my face SO HARD against the glass at the center after washing my hands. (the huge glass is placed between the basin and toilet bowl -- u.n.f.i.t.n.e.s.s) i heard the sound 'BONGGG' while i felt a dizzy spell and an ache in my face. i tried to hold something to balance myself. one thing for sure the sound was so loud and everyone outside (at the pantry) could hear me. i was praying hard inside that they possibly have returned to their own office. when i stepped out minutes later, they were still there. T___T that's so soooo embarassing! btw, i hitted my head three times today which makes me feel so retard. i guess i should get used to it.

i'm glad to have veron's patience in guiding me in documentation the whole day. i'll be taking over her job very soon. she had introduced me to all the departments today. i can't remember all the names but i remember friendly faces. i realize after college and uni, i'm back to single sex school again.

i will find my way to fit in and try my best!

well, harder during resit! :p taxation nearly got me stuck here from pursuing degree at uk! thank milk god, i did it! *ignore my superstitious*

it's obvious that everyone has slim down after came back from uk. bravo! back in uk we never stop complaining about round tummy yet we still kept on eating snacks.

jet lag worked itself out the second week i came home.
adapting back to the weather here aint a problem to me

hiya~ i'm in king cross starbucks alone.

was wandering in this big city alone after all my friends left the hotel.

strike happens in london. all the undergrounds are closed. the sky is getting darker and the people are getting more. the bus stations are fulled with people. i'm heading nowhere. i have no idea why should i walk fast to keep up the pace when i have nth to do? is it because i have been practising this speed during the short trip in past few days here?

my friends are in airport now, going home couple of hours later. to be honest, i was sad this morning because all of them are leaving except me. i don't wanna hear that you guys are worry about me because i'm about cry. i think i would look like a fool if i cry because we can always meet up as we are all from penang. it's really great to have you all in the past few months. i laugh way too much. thank you for looking after the blur me. thank you for all the patience and sorry if i did make you mad.

ciao! i'm in italy now! paid 5 euro for 2 hours of internet access after suffering few days of wifi-less. however, i start to feel regret now because at this time my family and friends in malaysia are sleeping. i called mr occ who is in uk and realized that he will be having his final paper tomorrow morning *sigh* talking to nobody~

btw i had travelled to holland, belgium, germany and i just reach italy today~ the trip is really rush.. it's true to call it a GLIMPSE of europe. we're like jumper! i love europe! they are really different from uk. different country has its own unique design. i wish my family is here and witness all these with me. i wish i could have more time in a country, learning bout its histories n stories, snapping pics with angles that i want, choosing souvenirs and hunting for famous delicacies. however the time is too short and we must stick to our tour guide. nobody wants to be lost here.

recently i have heard a lot bout how dangerous travelling in europe countries. hope that everyone and their belongings are safe! how much i wish we could travel without worrying bout excess lugage , poor weather, pickpockets and etc!

one more month before i go back to malaysia. i must treasure this opportunity to explore more! :D

staying in the forge hostel. love the room n facility!

spend one day here after 6 days 5 nights tiring scotland trip.

recharge my energy.. had a good sleep, woke up late, feeling great.

wash my dirty clothes n repack my stuff *my luggage is totally full*

my boyfriend is here.. i feel so loved and warm <3

start my europe tour tonight. going to 7 countries by tour!

holland, belgium, germany, austria, italy, switzeland, france

then we will backpack to barcelona, spain for 5 days

lose contact for 15 days~ then back to uk and spend 4 days in london.

it's saturday night and i guess most people are studying now. in fact we don't have to attend class on monday already. gonna take our final paper, international operations management on next tuesday then i'm done with degree! i really have no confidence for every single paper i have here. i guess my answer is not up to lecturers' requirement and sometimes i just don't seem to understand what they want here :(

anyway, my housemates from hotel management course have already completed their final coursework and are now freeeee to shopping after grounded for so longgggg :) i saw happy n relief faces when i cooked my breakfast. it's our turn to jealous now! :p

i have come out with a shopping list yet i have no time to go for shopping.
exam will be held on tue, 31st of aug (i should be celebrating national day n joe's birthday if i m at msia) gotta wake early for exam then prepare ourselves for ball night! i bet you will see me with heavy eyebags as i'm always the last minute person for exam.

will be leaving atlantic point at 2nd of sept night! our journey will begin from scotland then europe with tour then backpack to barcelona, london and etc! :D can't wait!

as i'm leaving, i'll be busy packing stuff these few days for travelling n shipping some home! it costs me 24 pound for one small box =( the box will be collected at 1st of sept so i gotta be fast.. yet i still have things to buy!

seriously i'm not ready to leave this place yet. i sent my family a postcard telling them i miss liverpool ~~malaysia~~. i think i'm crazy.

someone treated me a meal in rockerfellas 50's diner yesterday!

she said.. for my birthday and 'advises/complaints' xP

we found this typical american restaurant in bold street

car fender and photos of some old american pop stars

cheerful and attentive waiter who dressed up in red and white polka dots uniform

i ordered a cheezy beef burger with 'all the gang' (chips and onion rings)

and she opted for ding a ling chicken wings..

and it was for my birthday.. wohoo!

we decided to spend a day outside liverpool

MANCHESTER was chosen! it's only one hour journey from liverpool.

immediately booked 2 tickets for national express.

weather forecast was accurate.

it was our second visit to manchester!

as for first time we came here by tour sepearately.

both of us had visited old trafford stadium

so this time we just walk around city centre.. take pics and go shopping :)

Watched this movie in the afternoon. You know what sis and i used to watch bollywood movies few years back. Recommending this to her and i bet she gonna love it! It is a story about three engineering students Aamir Khan (Rancho) - *don't you think he looks like mr bean?*, Madhavan (Farhan) and Sharman Joshi (Raju) from different background chasing their dream. This is an entertaining yet inspiring movie. It makes me laugh and tear alone in front of my laptop.

It conveys great messages about life :

travelled to oxford yesterday. it was like our course trip as nearly all tong hang participants for that day are our coursemates. i woke up late and in my rush i forgot to bring along my camera memory card and purse. thanks friends for the help! :) btw it was unbelievable that jo and i were the first two person who waited at guard house.

oxford university is the third oldest surviving university in the world.
there are actually 38 independent colleges and 6 permanent private halls owned by oxford university. these students will be graduating all under oxford university! it seems that the city is dominated by oxford university as its colleges are scattered all throughout the city.

we visited some of the locations chosen for the filming of the movie harry potter and alice in the wonderland. my friend and i met harry potter in person in christ church college dining hall where it was set as harry potter's school, hogwarts in the movie. hmmmm.... alright, i bluffed.. he's just someone who look alike! xD

coursework submission deadline is actually tomorrow and we have exam next monday so there will be no activity for this weekend ;)

i like it when i completely enjoy myself during fun time

it's only my first month in uk and i'm adapting to the new environment.

i really like the place and the people here.

i still feel near to my family as it's just a phone call away..

last night housemates talked about how close a daughter can be with their dad.

i start missing him badly.. i feel upset bout the absense in his birthday this year

on the first day of arrival, we discovered something in the coach.

me and jo weren't in the same group with our friends as we wrote in the list earlier.

we have been arranged to be in the same house with four hotel management girls.

to be honest, the moment we saw that list we wanted to swap with someone else

in order to get back to our own group of friends..

the reason is we had promised to share some stuff together.

however, we get along pretty well with our new housemates day by day ;D

they are friendly people. so far we are fine and easy under one roof.

actually i'm here for 2 weeks already *blink*

life's been busy. time passes so fast here!

we have no class today.. i'm entitled with the time and mood to blog happily :D

come on, show you my hostel - Atlantic Point

so this is my room. it's small yet comfy. i enjoy my own privacy *wink*

every night i sleep with the lights on.. esp after listening those 'stories' from friends =(

but the lights are too bright, i end up suffering from eyes pain *rubbing eyes*

but i still insist not to turn them off.. and i just sleep with eye mask! lol

my bed looks blank.. i miss my smiley dogs.

they are actually stinky soft toys with silly names. swt.

our bed sheet will be washed for free every week

but we can't get back the same bed sheet. so people make sure you don't pee on it!

and this is where i ~~study~~ surf the net

there's a red notice board on top left.

i just stick those pics taken with friends at the airport.

when time allows, i will decorate them with more pics. missing everyone!

i have my own telephone in my room. it's intercom.. ngek~

we use it to talk craps and call each other before hang out together.

i remember it was only 10'c on the day we arrived.

yesterday was an important day to me

because yesterday was my boyfriend's 22nd birthday!

i gave him a lame surprise at 12am *with very lame song*

we went out for a long-waited movie, iron man 2.

it was interesting yet i fell asleep in the cinema and his laughters woke me up.

破纪录的长

今晚我试着早点睡觉，我始终无法入眠。
脑海里浮现了好多画面。不知为何今晚我会想起他。
他已不在三年了。我还依稀记得那笑容，酒窝，发型，背影。。

他对身边的朋友总是很好。在他身上，我看到‘不计较’。
朋友有事，他都会尽力帮忙。
他会帮朋友修电脑，用摩痑载送朋友去上课，借朋友电脑玩。
他家住很远。他会从家乡买点好吃的，带回来与大家分享。
有时大家会拿他来开玩笑，他会傻笑，他顶嘴时会走音。

我认识他一年多，某天他突然走了。
很短暂，但随着他的离开，我成长了。
我会认为很多东西不是永恒的。
也许是因为我害怕失去，我变得更懂得珍惜周围的人事物。

我珍惜能和家人聚在一起的时光。
家里每一个人都很爱趴趴走，要不就很忙。
我最珍惜是我们围在餐桌边吃边说笑（虽然听起来蛮恶心），
分享着我们各自在工作领域上或在学校生活所发生的趣事。
小时我爱和妈妈顶嘴，长大了我喜欢听她说故事。
有些事情，我曾经固执地认为那样是最好或对的，
但其实释怀后，看到你们开心幸福才重要。
和家人没什么好计较的。我感激他们给予我的一切。
如果某人可以对外人客气礼貌，在家里却只懂得大呼小叫，我说那是虚伪。
（我小时候很虚伪！因为爸妈说对uncle aunty要有礼貌嘛！哈哈哈哈）
其实我刚写这篇文章时，我的心情是超低落的，
但我现在却觉得有点好笑。（疯了）

说到，珍惜
朋友！朋友在我生命里是很重要的。
我有几个好姐妹。我们不常见面，
而我们会不计较地为彼此花时间，花钱，花心思，
让对方觉得我们的感情和地点并不遥远。
朋友不常联系没关系，但值得在乎的不要漠不关心。
结婚要请我去狂吃，生孩子的我给你红包，
满月寄些好吃的来啦拜托，新年来我家做客呗！最重要有空喝茶。
我说，一群朋友能聚在一起，是真的很难得，不要为了小事伤感情。
酸来酸去是挺逗趣，算来算去那就很无趣了。
或许，你今天计算一番后赚了一点，或你一心只想占朋友便宜，
却损了那可贵的友谊，日子久了，各忙各的，感情淡了，某天你会觉得可惜。
（说真的我们~~长大了~~不小了）或许你根本不在乎，或许你认为你小小的圈子已足够，
但真心地对待朋友，适当时给予帮忙，哪怕哪天你有事别人也会毫无犹豫，挺身而出。
感谢身边的朋友仔，虽然有时他们很‘卤型’,但我不懂的他们笑我教我，我难过他们会在那儿傻担心乱研究，他们不吝啬那份关心和忠告，不会跟我kira, 因为他们都不是印度人!
(ok,不好笑！我没有种族歧视）。一句话，我爱你们咯！（恶）

Last but not least, 我的恋人,D先生。
还记得，当这位朋友离开时，他老远下来陪我度过我低潮。
事后，我偶尔会向他提起，他总鼓励我不要悲观。
我的爱情观似乎变了。谁不希望永恒，但永恒的确遥远
（有谁现在看到了永恒？神棍？！），
我珍惜当下我们的爱，握手一步步走吧。
D先生有时很认真，他讨厌马虎。但有时我觉得我们俩在一起很傻。
无人时总爱乱模仿一通，在严肃的餐厅和电梯憋笑，偶尔乱开对方玩笑。
不开心的时候，很气随便被弄笑，因为突然觉得自己最无聊。
有时我觉得他呆，但他觉得我更呆。

希望鼓励能让彼此认真地再往前大跨一步。

其实，我本来是在怀念一个过世的好友。他是个好人。
我想说，当你有能力珍惜一个人，那你要珍惜那份机会去珍惜。
再想想其实很多问题都变渺小了。
写着写着，早上了！我的‘提早睡觉’又失败了。

7th of april is miss zinjo's birthday
